Our Story
It started in June 2021 with hello and a smile. A chivalrous gentleman and gentle lady went to dinner and talked about so many things as if they were old friends catching up on their lives, their families, their choices and their values. With kindred spirit, and conversation flowing so effortlessly; they both left the evening wondering if they knew each other from past. After all they did know some of the same people in the community. She knew they would be friends. He knew she would be his wife.

And oh, the striking similarities! Both of them with four kids each, including a set of twins. They share March birthdays, seven days apart, and have a fervent love for music, helping children, traveling and supporting activities at Southern University, just to name a few.
​
Meticulously, he began chipping away at her wall until she fell...in love with him. She sees how truly genuine, kind, and strong he is. In her, he sees a treasure; rare and precious. In August 2021, he asked her to marry him and she said yes!

Now here together, are two kids from the Felicianas...Ethel and St. Francisville; older, wiser, still believing in true love, forever in love with each other until the end of time - faithfully!
